We are also here to help dancers struggling through injury accelerate their rehabilitation and shorten their time away from dancing.
- Healthy Dancer Canada - Healthy Dancer Canada envisions a dynamic community of dancers, dance educators, health professionals and researchers dedicated to promoting dancer health and wellness, optimizing performance, understanding and addressing the unique challenges facing the dance community, and creating a culture of healthy dance practice in Canada.
- National Institute for Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS) -Enhancing dancers' health, wellbeing and performance through high quality scientific knowledge, evidence based practice and better, more affordable access to first class dance specific healthcare and dance science support services across the UK.
- One Dance UK - Healthier Dancer Programme - The Healthier Dancer Programme (HDP) is a founding partner in the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS). Through One Dance UK’s role as the sector support organisation for dance, the Healthier Dancer Programme (HDP) advocates and provides education to support dancers’ performance enhancement and physical, psychological, and social health.
- Safe in Dance International (SiDI) - Safe in Dance International (SiDI) believes that it is the right of everyone involved in dance to teach, study, train, rehearse and perform in a safe and supportive environment. With this in mind we support, develop, encourage and endorse the implementation of healthy dance practice worldwide.
- Youth Protection Association for Dance (YPAD) - YPAD courses are the foremost, research based, educational courses for dance professionals and the dance industry as a whole. The intention of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance® is to provide dance professionals with the skills and resources to protect and develop healthy, happy dancers. Through the use of online courses, YPAD courses educate dance studios and communities worldwide on the core elements in constructing an environment focused on the well-being of kids and a sustainable, safe future for dance.
